Why have a Floris Memorial Plaque?

Floris memorial wall plaques provides a lasting memorial of a loved one. The plaques are located on the memorial wall at the entrance to the Hall of Remembrance and flower cloisters.

Floris Memorial Plaques are engraved with lettering and can also include a designed image, such as a flower or military badge, or a small vase to contain a single flower.

If you prefer, you can add an oval ceramic inset to the plaque, which could contain a portrait of the person commemorated or a miniature hand-painted illustration. There is an extra cost for this.


  • Each plaque is 30cm long by 12cm high and has a stone appearance.
  • Each plaque has enough room for five lines of inscription.
  • The name uses a larger typeface so it may not exceed 24 characters (excluding all spaces) per line.
  • All other lines may have up to 32 characters (excluding all spaces) per line.
